Christmastime is upon us and so was a fun morning of doing sessions at the studio. Designing a cute setup with a luxurious green velvet couch in front of decorated faux fireplace flanked by snowy fir trees was a perfect location for family photos. I also put together some smaller winter setups to give some diversity to the sessions.
The Bone Family
I was thrilled Lindsay Bone reached out to me about a Christmas session. The Bone family arrived ready to go so we started their session on the couch, where I captured the whole family together as well as segments of it. I also incorporated candid captures and some fun interactive shots that got the whole family laughing. Some of my favorite photos from this session include ones of the kids giving each other a hug and looking at each other. Knowing kids grow fast, I wanted to capture the tender moments between this adorable brother and sister.
The Byrd Family
I invited my in-laws to join in a fun session with my kids. Dressing casually, these grandparents had a blast with their grandchildren. There’s something unique and special about the dynamic between grandkids and their grandparents. Some of the funniest moments included having my daughter hold up mistletoe overhead her Ma and Papa and the kissing that ensued.
