While neighbors were snoozing after a long day of Black Friday shopping or still under the spell of a turkey coma, the Woodward family met me outside their home bright and early to capture some family photos.
“Families are like fudge – mostly sweet with a few nuts.”
Knowing the Woodwards for years, I was excited to capture moments of them all together. Mike, the dad, greeted me at their door remarking how surprised he was they were all there on time. We headed outside where Julie (the mom) pointed me to a couple options for their session.

The woods provided a perfect spot to capture some moments of the family together as well as in particular groupings. The Woodwards are so fun to work with and were good sports as they listened to some funny prompts. (I personally liked how the family really got into giving me their best Santa “Ho Ho Ho”!) I enjoyed capturing moments of each kid as well as shots of mom and dad together.

We ended our time together in front of the Woodward family’s home, where I captured shots on their inviting front porch and yard. The Woodwards are fun, wonderful and joyful, a few things I hope show through their photos.
