Fall leaves create an unsurpassed backdrop for stunning images. The Hicks family (Kristy, Adam and their two adorable boys) had a perfect fall morning to capture some beautiful moments of their family.

I captured some moments of this family during last year’s Christmas minis. Not only has time passed, but they also welcomed another son to the family in July which made this session even more special.

Capturing moments of a family with a two-year-old and a four-month-old can be challenging at times but having a laid-back personality helps in those moments. We found some activities that kept the oldest happy and captured moments of him looking at the ducks, running and stepping on leaves. While baby was fussy, I captured moments of mom and dad comforting and cuddling, freezing in time some tender moments.

Though there were brief unhappy moments, both boys did a fantastic job (as did mom and dad!) we were able to capture some picture-perfect images of the Hicks family!
