Sara Coleridge once said, “January brings the snow, makes our feet and fingers glow.” Most of us don’t love being out in the cold so I chose to do some inside studio sessions in January at my favorite studio, COCOS St. Louis!
These studio sessions included a lifestyle family session with the Schisler family. This family is one of my favorites and their girls are just precious! The second session featured my sister accompanied by her canine friend, Maggie. My sister just loves her dog and wanted to demonstrate her title of dog mom through some moments with her dog.
I just loved both of these sessions for a variety of reasons. Capturing moments for friends is always fun and saying I like the Schisler family would be an understatement! Mallory and I were roommates before we married and their girls are close to the ages of my own and are good friends.
Valoree is my mini me, but with a spunk and flair I wouldn’t be able to pull off. She’s so comfortable being who she is and used her amazing humor to play up this session so much I laughed out loud numerous times. I am happy to say she is a great dog mom and fits into that mold wonderfully!
