While the weather forecasted storms, the rain kept away on the morning of June 26, a very important date for Marc and Holly Pope. 28 years earlier, this lovely couple got married and to celebrate they contacted me to capture some moments not only of them but also their five children, son-in-law and grandson.
Mastodon picnic area off Seckman Road is a special place for the Popes. Frequently a location for their dates, it was the place they enjoyed a picnic the morning of their wedding. Such a special place for them, it was settled it was the perfect location for their session.
When Holly contacted me about the session, she explained she not only wanted a great shot of everyone but wanted some of the funny, candid moments. “I would love one of those photos where it looks like no one is listening to how to pose. That is real life.”
Martin Luther once said, “There is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship, communion or company than a good marriage.” Marc and Holly have definitely created a marriage and life that is lovely, friendly and charming! It was great fun capturing candid moments of this large family as they celebrated where it began 28 years before.
