I was thrilled when Dana Clements contacted me about a family session. I had the pleasure of capturing moments of Jordan and Holly as they anticipated the arrival of their son back in April. Sunday, I got to meet Liam as well as his grandparents for a special Christmas studio session.
“What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage
Agnes M. Pahro
for the present, hope for the future.”
Dana Clements contacted me a while back about doing a session for her and her daughter’s families. I was excited since I knew Jordan and Holly and hadn’t yet met Liam. I was also excited to capture moments using the Christmas studio setup I put together!
“The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a
Burton Hills
happy family all wrapped up in each other.”
The whole gang wore matching buffalo plaid, which popped out wonderfully from the white and green elements of the setup. Dana had shared that her husband Gary grew up in the neighborhood and he remarked that he remembered when it was a confectionary, which brought some history to the studio I’ve grown fond of using.
“Christmas will always be as long as we stand
Dr. Seuss
heart to heart and hand in hand.”
I loved capturing moments between Liam both with his parents and his grandparents. I loved seeing their interactions together. Some of my favorite moments included Liam feeling proud sitting in a cute little rocking chair, all smiles.
