I was thrilled to meet Bennett nine days after he was born and elated for my dear friend Ashley and her husband, Brad. When I arrived to their home, I was greeted by Bennett’s older fur sisters who eagerly kept my attention while the parents finished getting Bennett ready.

It was a delight to see Ashley interact with her newborn son and see how protective Brad was of him. Even the puppies had been bitten by the love bug and completely smitten by baby boy. I loved capturing moments between them all as they interacted as a family.

After capturing some moments of Bennett with his family, it was time for his solo portrait session. Bennett slept soundly while I captured photos of him swaddled as well as some details of his fingers, nose and toes – precious images that his mom will cherish as he grows.
