While it was a warmer November morning, the partly cloudy sky provided a little chill but perfect lighting for my time with the Russom family near the lake at Simpson Park. It had been two years since I captured moments of the family together and quickly realized how quickly time passes.
We began by the lake with some photos of them sitting on a blanket. Some of my favorite moments captured included a candid shot of the three of them here. While most trees had limited fall blooms, the backdrop of fall trees on the other side of the lake delighted both myself and the family.
Following some walking near the lake, we took a higher trail to capture moments of Shawne with her daughter. I loved to see how easily they made each other laugh and how they even shared an inside joke with one another. Finally I had Madison sit among fall leaves and throw some overhead, which she eagerly did.
The Russom family never disappoints in providing candid laughter and smiles and I eagerly captured it all. It was great capturing those precious moments all together as well as those tender moments between one parent and child. The weather was delightful and the cloudiness actually provided almost a spotlight in some of our locations to create some moodiness. I was excited to introduce the park to the family and they were eager to return soon to discover more of it on their own.
We love our sessions with Nicole! She is so easy to work with and has such a talent in capturing candid moments. Thanks, Nicole!
