Last summer, I stood alongside my dear friend Ashley as she became Mrs. Brad Geringer. Last weekend I got to stand behind my camera to capture some moments of their small gender reveal celebration.

Both sets of soon-to-be grandparents were on hand for the festivities as well as my family, an energized uncle and his girlfriend. Brad cooked us a great BBQ lunch complete with all the fixings. While the food was good everyone was eager for what was next…the big reveal inside cupcakes from Cake House Design! Once it was allowed, both grandmas quickly began eating their dessert to reveal the colored icing inside the center.
“Twinkle twinkle little star, how we wonder what you are.”
Soon the whole party knew that Baby Geringer is a boy! Elated, the grandparents soon started requesting his name but they’ll have to wait awhile since Brad and Ashley have yet to reveal that. Once the excitement died down, I captured some images of the joyful couple showing off a gender reveal cupcake. Ashley looked so cute and glowing I couldn’t resist capturing a few baby bump photos in their backyard.
