The Sandy Creek Covered Bridge is a favorite shooting location, especially in the fall. While the leaves had not yet fully bloomed into their fall magic, the covered bridge provided a beautiful backdrop.
The Murphey Family
Laura booked a session after meeting me three days earlier during her girls’ Classical Conversations photos. After learning about the sessions, they quickly booked a spot. It had been on her and husband, Jason’s, list to do. They hadn’t gotten family photos done with the girls. With two daughters who are quickly growing they new it was time to get updated photos. Since I had taken photos of the girls just a few days earlier, they quickly warmed up to me. They were great fun and listened so very well. Each even got a turn taking a photo which made their day!
The Stover Family
I got connected with mom, Ariel, through The Bennett Project. I was happy to capture some moments for this deserving family. Allowing the oldest to warm up to me, I started our time by getting to know Ariel. I learned she was new to the area but had her aunt nearby, a blessing for this mom. Capturing some of big sister giving kisses to her baby sister just melted my heart! Playtime with bubbles became magical in front of the covered bridge.
The Geringer Family
Brad and Ashley have two adorable boys that turn giving hugs into a chance to wrestle. We did some fun group shots and ones with each parent separately with the two boys. Some of my favorites were the two boys together, giving hugs to each other while smiling big for the camera.
The weather was gorgeous, even a little warm, for these fall sessions. The covered bridge became a beautiful backdrop as I captured moments of each family. Whether it was the silhouettes captured within it or the precious cuddles captured beside it, the bridge became part of the memories. I think that’s pretty special.
