Thomas and Melissa | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

Surrounded by their children, family and closest friends, Thomas and Melissa became husband and wife. Due to rainy weather, the ceremony changed to the Schoenberg Arid House. The garden staff were super accommodating to make the ceremony go off without a hitch. They even blocked the entrance until after the ceremony was complete.

Thomas and Melissa’s attendants were their children who walked through the garden as their families united as one. The officiant kindly and genuinely shared how important it is to show up for one another. When he legally declared them husband and wife, he shared they would do that each and every day in the way they treat one another.

After the ceremony ended, the mothers of the bride and groom signed the marriage license. I gathered the whole group together for one big photo and then some individual friend shots, before capturing moments of just Thomas, Melissa and their four children.

When Melissa, a long-time client, contacted me about documenting her and Thomas’ small wedding ceremony, I was ecstatic. Not only have I done photos for Melissa and her girls numerous times, but quickly clicked with Thomas and his kids as well when we met in November. I was thrilled this special couple allowed me the privilege to document such a momentous occasion in their lives. Congratulations to Thomas, Melissa and their children!
