Amongst the buildings in Downtown St. Louis, there’s a beautifully designed lifestyle studio where I held my first minis of the year. This light-filled space offered comfort amongst a breezy and chilly day St. Patty’s weekend.
My first client was Logan, who wanted updated headshots to use for her LinkedIn and other professional accounts. While a wife and mom, she’s also a professional working toward her doctorate in sociology and knew she needed a professional headshot to illuminate that level of education.
Following my time with Logan, I move to capture some headshots for her mom, Michelle. Logan gifted her mom the session. I was thrilled to learn beforehand that Logan’s boys were going to be with them and quickly turned from headshots to tender moments. Walker was quite a ham throughout the session, Wade more serious but when Logan busted out two cameras for them as a surprise, the fun really began.
Rounding out my time at the studio was my time with Eden and her son. They easily interacted together and I loved the tender moments I captured between them. Tate, all energy, was able to listen well to instruction and gave me so many great smiles. I loved the moments I captured of them, solo and together, on the spiral staircase (one of my favorite features of the space!)
I absolutely loved the moments I captured during my studio minis. 20th Street Studios is a great studio space, boasting two great natural light spaces. As a VIP member of the studio, I’m eager and excited for the sessions I’ll get to capture here this year!
