As leaves steadily fell, I met the Lester family at Powder Valley to capture moments of this adorable family of four. Though I usually feel nervous meeting a brand-new client, the fact that Nicole shared my first name gave some kind of unspoken comradeship and her outgoing sons and husband, made introductions comfortable.
Jonah and Mason were quick to share all about their day and we became fast friends. Though little, they had a sense of what to do and loved getting to see what I captured on the back of the camera. The moments of the family interacting with one another made the some of the most impressive photos though I loved taking photos of Jeff and Nicole by themselves.
I grew up visiting Powder Valley, but this was the first time I ever did a session at Powder Valley and it didn’t disappoint. Prior to the session, I was thrilled to discover a new area that was the perfect spot to capture most of the images. The lighting was brilliant and the moments captured were breathtaking. I will have to come back to capture more here!
