It was a beautiful morning when I met up with Julie and her three foster kids to capture some fun, summer moments. Decked out in their Americana outfits and bringing some fun props, they were eager to see the photos I captured on the back screen.
We started taking some images on the creek bank, but the youngest soon discovered the water (something loves) so we all jumped in and captured some fun water moments. The kids loved throwing rocks and seeing the splashes that resulted.
These three beautiful children are currently under Julie and her husband’s care as their parents work some things out. Julie shared how she set up a Facebook group to communicate with the parents, share photos and cheer them on during this process. She contacted me to capture some summer moments of them all together so the parents would have some updated photos. As Julie shared how eager she is to one day see these kids and parents thriving together, it gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes.
Josh Shipp once said, “Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story.” My hope that I echo from Julie is that these three cuties, alongside their parents, will become a success story!
