Listening to podcasts has become a new favorite daily activity of mine. Whether I’m folding laundry, cleaning one of several messes or even working on my business, I find I can be productive and learn something in the process!
Here’s a list of five of my favorite podcasts I listen to every week:
Risen Motherhood
Risen Motherhood “exists to encourage, equip, and challenge moms to apply the gospel to their everyday lives.” Sisters-in-law Laura Wifler and Emily Jensen discuss everyday topics mothers face in a gospel-focused and centered way. The 20-minute episodes drop on Wednesdays.
I really like the intentional conversations the ladies have and how in 20 minutes can walk away understanding how I can be a mother who is gospel focused.

The Christy Wright Show
For women who own a business, this show is a must listen! Previously known as the Business Boutique Podcast, The Christy Wright Show not only provides a ton of information to business-minded ladies, but also inspires you in other areas such as faith, family, self-care and more. The Dave Ramsey personality invites a large range of guests onto her show which also challenges you to build confidence in yourself and the God who made you.
As a business owner, I absolutely love the advice I’ve received from listening to this show. Most of the ideas can be implemented that same day!

Women of the Church
Desiring some historic podcasts, I came across this podcast. The first season chronicles the story of abolition of the slave trade and slavery in the British West Indies by discussing the lives of ten women of faith. Sadly, the hosts of the podcast have decided not to extend their podcast to other seasons at the current time, but the first season is still available.
I really like learning about how faith-filled women had an impact not only in their lifetime but beyond! A bonus was the episode on Jane Austen!

Made for This with Jennie Allen
Founder of IF: Gathering, Jennie Allen hosts a podcast that’s a real conversation about the struggles we face and the God that sets us free. Two episodes release each week, one episode of Jennie’s teaching and another featuring an interview. Season six hits September 29!
I really like the authenticity in which Jennie shares from her own struggles and questions. Jennie’s ability to shift things from our problems to our need for the gospel.

At Home with Sally and Friends
Sally Clarkson, author and speaker, has encouraged moms in Christ for over forty years. She provides Christ-centered teaching of how to train up children to love Jesus. Weekly shows often feature guests and often talks about her recent writing.
Listening to this podcast provides me with encouragement from a mother who already has raised hers and gives me insights from a mentor, via airwaves.
