I arrived at the Frisco Train Store in Valley Park on a brisk Friday morning to capture some moments of two little boys. Mom, Katie, contacted me wanting birthday shots of Dawson, now one, and Gavin, who was celebrating his third birthday on the day of the session.
“Planes, trains, trucks and toys…there’s nothing quite like little boys.”
I was thrilled when I contact the shop and was given permission to capture some moments of the boys playing with the trains. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first visit to the shop but it seemed that there would be plenty of trains to keep the boys’ attention.
As soon as I entered, I knew the boys would have a great time playing. There were several wooden train layouts and one train overhead that ran from its heights at intervals. As soon as the boys arrived, they were eager to get started playing and I was ready to capture them. I was able to capture both boys enjoying the various train displays, interacting with each other and some solo portraits. Once I had plenty of images of them playing and we could coax the boys outside we stepped out into the cold for some brief portraits featuring the lovely exterior, their numbers and some special moments with mom.
“Little engines can do big things”
A huge thank you to the Frisco Train Store who graciously allowed me the opportunity to capture moments inside their store.
