When Weather Cooperates: Fall Sessions at Claire Gempp | St. Louis Family Photographer

The weather can be fickle. The weekdays can be beautiful and sunny and then the weekend of your planned session it can be rainy. After rescheduling twice due to bad weather, I finally got the opportunity to capture moments for clients at one of my favorite spots for fall photos!

The Gwinnell Family

I met the Gwinnell family through Classical Conversations and have had the privilege to capture moments of them all together twice now. Nicole is so thoughtful at putting together their clothing that makes them all coordinate beautifully. I absolutely loved the heartfelt moments of the family as they walked together through the woods. My favorite shot is an image of them all cuddled together with Nicole looking lovingly at her husband.

The Harbaugh Family

I’ve known Kyle and Rachel since before they were married and was super excited to capture their lovely family during a fall session. We reconnected through Bible Study Fellowship and our kids are in the same class together. It was a delightful time spent capturing genuine smiles, laughter and hugs. I absolutely loved capturing the family without shoes, as most of the time they are barefooted. I loved this little detail and how we could highlight it within our time together.

While the weather didn’t play kindly to my original plan, the days we finally captured photos, the weather was beautiful. I absolutely love capturing moments at Claire Gempp in the fall and will definitely be back again to capture more!
