St. Louis has some amazing parks boasting breathtaking backgrounds for capturing photos and Longview Farm Park in Town and Country is no exception. The Hartley family contacted me after seeing another client’s photos. The family moved from Arizona some time ago, but only had one photo session in St. Louis. It was time for updated photos!
I met Lance, Susan, their two sons and dog Buddy at the Longview Farm House on a warm weekend afternoon. The gardens surrounding the house provides a beautiful spot for some family moments. As we walked around the park, I got to know the family better. I learned more about the boys and what brought them to St. Louis. Capturing some moments on a tree-lined path provided the fall look Susan desired. I was ecstatic to get multiple shots of Buddy looking straight at the camera, something that doesn’t always happen when you bring your dog.
We made our way through the wooded trail to the lake where I captured some individual and family images around the lake. Some of my favorite shots from our time together include the images of the boys on the stairs. The brilliant background of fall leaves create a beautiful autumn feel.
Having successfully captured moments of the Hartley family, Buddy included, we left the park all happy the time was a success!
