Joanna Gaines once said, “Time together as a family is a gift.” Before the holidays were upon us, I had the opportunity to capture not just one, but two extended sessions back-to-back for the Karr and Fogelbach families.
The Karr Family
Shannon contacted me about adding the Karr family to my schedule when she learned I would be down for a session. Extremely rare for the whole family to be all together, they were excited I could capture moments of them. What struck me about this group was how they know how to have a good time! From the oldest to the youngest, they told joke after joke and I could tell enjoyed being together.
The family wanted shots of the whole group as well as each individual family. Although family, it was neat to see how each family group did photos a little differently from the next.
Capturing moments of the grandkids with the grandparents were some of my favorites. I absolutely loved capturing moments just the grandparents together, some special moments captured to enjoy throughout the year.

The Fogelbach Family
Janet was super thrilled to have moments captured of her family. She came prepared with a list of shots to make sure we got everything! One special shot was an image from an old family photo recreated by John and Mindy. Just like the Karr family, as grandkids are usually gone this was an ideal time to get photos taken.
There were some great moments captured including Janet with her kids and grandkids. Creating walking shots on the street were some of the highlights from the time as well.
Whenever a family can all come together, it makes it a special time!
