The Adventure of Jennie and Aiden | St. Louis Family Photographer

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” – Helen Keller

Always up for an adventure, Jennie and son Aiden, met me at Busch Conservation Area to capture some moments. Aiden knew the routine of photos and followed instruction extremely well. Sadly, Jennie left herself out except for the occasional selfie. Today would be the day, after six years, they would have a professional capture moments of them together!

A duo at the beginning, the closeness between mom and son was clearly visible. Aiden loved jumping up into his mom’s arms, something he won’t get to do much longer. As we captured moments on the Pine Trail, Aiden was mesmerized by each twist and turn of the trail and loved checking out the pond.

We ventured to a small lake nearby where they took out their fishing poles to work at casting. After capturing photos of them together and separate, Aiden revealed his Robux shirt, something he loves to do with his mom.

I absolutely love driving up to Busch Conservation Area and discovering new areas. Never capturing moments on the Pine Trail, I was eager to capture photos there. I was delighted they brought their fishing poles and used them during our time together. Capturing an activity during a session brings more life to the photos and it was fun seeing them practice together. It was a pleasure to work with Jennie and get her in photos with her son without her having to hold up her phone in an awkward way!
