When everyone comes home you make sure that moments together are special. Mark and Patty know this first hand as their eldest son is living in Southwest Missouri. Knowing he would be in town in September, Patty contacted me to update family photos for them. Seeing photos I’ve taken at Claire Gempp, she was excited to make that their session location.
Meeting on a mild morning, we first went to the wetland area to capture some moments on the boardwalk. As we walked along, I got to catch up with the sons, Luke and Noah, both now out of school and in the workforce. It was fun capturing moments of the family at the boardwalk, including some silly moments such as the guys given disgusted looks as their parents kissed.
As we walked, we found a path beautifully covered even though the temperatures didn’t scream fall. We spent quite a bit of time capturing moments of the family together, shots of both Luke and Noah and moments with Mark and Patty. Our time ended with Luke and Noah holding hands and skipping, some of the most memorable from our time together!
Claire Gempp isn’t known by many, but has quickly become one of my favorite spots to capture moments. Situated in a convenient location, it boasts wooded paths that are easy to navigate and a boardwalk area that is stunning. When everyone comes home it was a delight to update the Stockton family photos.
