Spring is in full bloom and so is the opportunity for some beautiful spring photos! While fall is breathtaking with golden hues, spring provides beautiful hues of green, reds, pinks and more! Here are some suggestions for picture perfect spring locations.
Missouri Botanical Gardens
Whether it’s my own family or a client, there is always an array of blooms that make breathtaking backdrops for photos. The garden is blooming with tulips, hyacinths, magnolias and some varieties of cherries. The garden provides a beautifully shown map that is frequently updated and details what’s in bloom to make sure you don’t miss any of them!
Laumeier Sculpture Park
One of my spring favorites, Laumeier not only boasts beautiful blooms but also beautiful structural backdrops of the Aronson Fine Arts Center and Kranzberg Education Lab. It’s easy to capture beautiful moments at this park!
Bee Tree Park
When daffodils are in bloom near the Nims Mansion, this park is magical! The parks department also does a beautiful job around the mansion itself with beautiful plantings!
Queeny Park
I discovered the Mason Road entrance of this park, held my first sessions here last year (read about them here) and quickly fell in love! The Queen Barn and Jarville Greenhouse create beautiful backdrops including their impeccable gardens between the two. I’m returning to this location to do my spring mini sessions which are now open for booking.
While these are some of my favorite, I could easily spill more. There are so many beautiful locations in St. Louis during the spring. Do you have a list of picture perfect spring locations?
